Credo House Proves the Bible is Illogical and Inconsistent via the Trinity

In my previous post on the trinity, I PROVED that the Christian conception of Trinity is illogical, and inconsistent with other passages in the Bible, such as Jesus sitting at the right hand side of Yahweh.

In this post, I will go further, and show that this Christian conception of the Trinity is actually based on the Bible, which would mean that the Bible itself is illogical and inconsistent.

Assume what the authors, C. Michael Patton, Th.M. and Tim Kimberley, Th.M from the Credo House say is true in the video below, and in this case, we actually believe they are right. That is, Athanasius, Constantine and the rest of the Nicene Council base their conception of the Trinity on the Bible.

10 Myths about God: #5 - The Trinity was Invented from Credo House on Vimeo.

As I had proven in my last post, the Christian conception of the trinity is illogical and inconsistent with other Bible passages. Now we see that the Christian conception of the Trinity is actually based on the Bible. If the Christian conception of the Trinity is actually based on the Bible, then the Bible itself is illogical and inconsistent. Therefore, the Bible is illogical and inconsistent.

Thanks Credo House--for proving that the Bible is illogical and inconsistent!!

Its inaccurate to say the church fathers "based" their concept of the Trinity on the Bible. Rather, the concept of the Trinity in the Bible is based on the concept of the Trinity that the church father's developed. In other words, they developed the concept apart from the Bible, then edited the Bible to sneak it in and make it look like it came from the Bible originally.

Your point is well taken. But this is like the question: What came first the chicken or the egg! Apart from what Bible? Show me the proof of what parts were edited in and which were not. Remember the New Testament is just compilation of material from various writers over a wide period of time. Perhaps all of it is mere fiction.

I argued that, "the Christian conception of the Trinity is actually based on the Bible, which would mean that the Bible itself is illogical and inconsistent." In this case, I am making reference to the Bible as it is. And as it is, it is illogical and inconsistent.

Well, for one it is often argued that the Johanine Comma (1 John 5:7-8) is a late addition. Aside from the end of Matthew this is the only other explicit statement of the Trinity, and theories have floated around among non-trinitarians forever that Matthew was edited in the 3rd century to add the Trinity in. Of course, if you admit that the Catholic church edited the Bible to add in the Trinity, that open's the question of what else they've added, so you've lost the concept of an inerrant Bible.
